NRC (No-Repeat Console)

1972 – 1976

The NRC was ADM's flagship system — a mixing console built around the Vue-Scan voltage-sensing architecture that allowed mix parameters to be captured and replayed. The 1973 four-page spread in Recording magazine introduced the system with detailed technical claims about its scanning resolution and repeatability. The console itself was a professional large-format desk, designed for the top tier of Hollywood and New York studios willing to invest in early automation capability.
