MCI's most advanced and final analog console. The JH-600 featured an in-line design with transformerless mic preamps, 3-band EQ with optional Vari-Q parametric, VCA grouping with Solo-In-Place, Automated Level and Mute (AF package), and optional Plasma Display metering. Quick-disconnect connectors on all rear panel I/O made installation and service practical. By this point the Sony/MCI brand faced severe competition from SSL and was winding down its console business.
