Midas's landmark modular PR System architecture — the console that established the brand in professional recording and broadcast. Deployed in three configurations: large-frame recording consoles (e.g., 30-into-6+24 for classical mobile recording at Eurosound Studios Holland), broadcast mixers, and touring consoles. The MIDAS 24 into 8 Stage Monitor Console became "the accepted standard for on-stage sound reinforcement." Over 350 PR System consoles delivered through the late 1970s. The 26-into-8-24 Sound Recording Console was chosen by studio builders including Steven St. Croix, who used it to help produce artists such as Stevie Wonder.
