XL Series (XL3, XL4, XL250)

1991 – 2010s

The XL series defined arena-and-stadium touring sound through the 1990s and 2000s. The XL3 (1991) and XL4 (1999) became the standard FOH console for major world tours — Pink Floyd, U2, the Rolling Stones, and dozens of A-list touring acts ran XL desks alongside Klark Teknik DN360 EQs and dbx 160s. Midas's reputation for sonic neutrality and bulletproof reliability under touring conditions remains industry-defining.
