Tangent's flagship: 32 input channels feeding 16 submasters with direct outs — designed for 16- and 24-track production. Semi-parametric three-band EQ, transformerless balanced I/O, FET electronic switching for silent signal-flow rearrangement, up to nine VCA groups (where competitors offered fewer), and Penny & Giles faders throughout. Automation via the Allison 65K programmer and Fadex moving-fader system — the same Allison platform used by other premium consoles of the era. Phase reverse, tape return and cue send on every channel. Marketed as "the original" against what Tangent positioned as copycat competitors.
