"Virtual Dynamics" software optional
The Recall was the second AMEK desk under Graham Langley's "By-Langley" banner — the Big was the first. Aimed at sound-reinforcement and live-recording: two frame sizes (35 and 52 positions), four module types (Input, 8×8 Group-Matrix, Stereo Master, Monitor Master), 24:8:2 or 40:8:2 FOH configuration with 12 aux sends. EQ was a Langley-designed 4-band swept (12 dB/oct) distinct from the Big's, with switchable HF/LF bell-shelf and switchable MF Q. Snapshot + recall automation as standard, Virtual Dynamics software optional. Patrick Stapley's Studio Sound review (1993-11) headlined it "Going Live — studio sophistication that talks back".
