Nashville / LA standard
The CSII was the second-generation Euphonix — digitally controlled analog, up to 108 inputs, total dynamic automation, and the "SnapShot" scene recall system that let engineers reconfigure the entire console in seconds. Marketed with the "Why Is Everyone Talking About Euphonix?" campaign that pitched the CS II against the SSL 4000G, Neve V-Series and Harrison Series Ten in a market that was desperately hungry for recall and automation without a quarter-of-a-million-pound price tag. Used heavily in Nashville, Los Angeles, London and Japan through the early 1990s.
