The flagship of Harrison's 32C generation — the console that refined and productised the breakthrough in-line architecture Dave Harrison first developed at MCI. The 4032C came fully wired for up to 40 microphone inputs and 88 line-level inputs in a single frame. Each channel carried Harrison's fully parametric four-band reciprocal EQ (a proprietary design using passive filtering to limit frequencies above the audio range, resulting in a transparently smooth circuit, free from overshoot, ringing, and slew). Switching throughout used N-Channel JFETs — no moving contacts, no atmospheric deterioration, no wear. An optional VU meter overbridge accepted either six Weston 3½″ standard VU meters or LED bar display meters. Wood trim and internal patch bays came as standard.
