Harrison built the 4432C for engineers who needed a full 32-Series console in situations where weight and floor space were premium — remote recording trucks, location film work, or studios where a lighter chassis was essential. It used the identical 32C series modules as the 4032C but dispensed with wood trim and internal patch bays in the interest of space conservation. In their place, an aircraft aluminium frame kept the fully wired 44×32 configuration dramatically lighter than the flagship, while all patch points were terminated into quick-connect splice blocks for easy connection to full external patching. The catalogue describes it as "ideal for studio applications where it is desired to customise patching and cabinetry."
