The final Helios chapter under Swettenham was a deliberate move into broadcast — TV studios, radio stations, and the music-for-picture rooms that television and film increasingly needed. Capital Radio in London took a 24-track stereo desk fully prepared for quad output, with four compressors built in and Studer-specific track-mode selection. Mainos TV in Finland received multiple consoles, including a small 10-input two-output TV sound mixer and a 16-channel on-air desk. Hamburg ABS, the British Independent Broadcasting Authority, and Télémetropole in Montréal — Channel 10, French Canada's largest commercial broadcaster — all installed Helios desks for multitrack music recording and "sweetening" rooms. Same Swettenham custom-build approach, but engineered for broadcast workflows: built-in Dolby for 24 tracks, solo-in-place, pre-listen, VCA group control.
